Hancheng, Shaanxi launches regular inspection on non-compliant leisure electric tricycles starting Oct 1, stimulating re

Traffic authority of Hancheng carried out special rectification for non-standard low-speed leisure electric tricycles. From October, non-compliant leisure tricycles not listed in MIIT catalogue and without registration will be impounded and fined, and vehicles reaching scrap standard will be forcibly retired. The campaign accelerates the phase-out of old non-standard tricycles in county markets, driving demand for officially approved leisure two-wheelers and tricycles. Manufacturers must strictly follow MIIT product certification rules and stop production & sales of unapproved vehicles.
